The oak register is fit for 4×10 inch duct opening on flooring The red oak floor register is with sliding damper on backside to adjust air flow easily. The damper can be removed from wood vent easily by bending the two tabs on damper itself. The oak floor register is better to be adapted on 3/4 inch thickness hardwood flooring. Highly recommended that the oak floor register be installed in the meanwhile installation of your hardwood flooring.
