Store policies

Terms of sale

These terms govern every purchase from Renorama Carpet & Flooring — at the counter and through this site. Using the site or placing an order means you accept them.

Last updated August 11, 2026· Applies in-store and to online orders.

The short version

  • An online order is a request. The sale is final only after we confirm it with you by phone.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars; HST (13%) is added where applicable. Errors are corrected at confirmation.
  • Cards are processed by Helcim in its hosted window — card numbers never touch our site.
  • Product warranties are the manufacturer's. Our liability is capped at what you paid for the goods.
01

Who you're dealing with

“Renorama”, “we” and “us” mean Renorama Carpet & Flooring, 4327 Steeles Ave W, North York, ON, (416) 661-7262. These terms, together with the return, delivery and privacy policies, are the whole agreement for a purchase.

02

Online orders are requests

Submitting an order on this site is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We confirm every order by phone — stock, quantities, price, pickup or delivery — and the contract forms when we confirm. We may decline or limit any order (for example, apparent resellers, stock errors, or quantities we can't supply); if you have already paid online for an order we cannot confirm, you receive a full refund.

03

Prices, tax & errors

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars. HST (13%) is added at checkout where applicable.
  • Prices may change without notice, and promotional prices apply only while they run.
  • Despite care, a listed price or description can be wrong. The server re-prices every cart, and errors are corrected before or at phone confirmation — you are never bound by a mispriced order, and neither are we. If we corrected a price after you paid online, you may cancel for a full refund on that call.
  • Written quotes are valid for 14 days unless the quote says otherwise; supplier cost changes after that may re-price the job.
04

Payment

Pay online by card through Helcim's hosted payment window — your card details go to Helcim, a Canadian payment processor, and never touch our servers — or pay at the store on pickup, or on delivery. Any balance must be paid in full before pickup, delivery or installation.

05

Special orders & deposits

  • Special-order and quote items are ordered in specifically for you. Once we place the order with the mill or supplier, it cannot be cancelled and the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cut-to-size goods — carpet off the roll, cut trim, altered doors — are cut to your measurements and are final sale.
  • Supplier lead times are estimates we pass through in good faith; delays at the mill are not grounds for cancellation of a special order, though we will chase them for you.
06

Measurements, colour & product information

  • Measurements are your responsibility unless Renorama performs the site measure. We help you do the math, but quantities ordered to customer measurements are ordered at your risk — order cutting waste (typically 5–10%) and enough for the whole job in one dye lot.
  • Colour on a screen is indicative only, and dye lots differ between production runs. A lot-to-lot difference is not a defect. Confirm colour from a physical sample or the actual carton.
  • Coverage, thickness and spec figures come from manufacturers; verify anything critical before installation.
07

Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty only. Renorama gives no warranty of its own, express or implied, beyond what the law requires, and sells otherwise on an as-is basis. We will help you document and file manufacturer claims but do not control their outcome. Installation is acceptance of visible condition — see Returns & exchanges.

08

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renorama's total liability for any claim arising from a sale — in contract, tort or otherwise — is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: installer charges, tear-out and reinstallation, project delays, lost time or lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or waives rights you cannot waive under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).

09

The website

The site's content — catalogue, images, prices — is provided in good faith and may contain errors; it can change or be unavailable at any time. Do not misuse the site: no unlawful use, no scraping the catalogue, no interfering with its operation.

10

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply, and disputes belong to the courts of Ontario. We may update these terms by posting the new version here with a new date; the version posted when you order is the one that applies to that order.
